They'd woken up almost simultaneuosly a few minutes earlier. It was at least an hour before they had to start getting ready for work, so they lay quietly enjoying their quiet time. Finally, EuEarl leaned over & pressed the alarm button on the clock.Then he turned to his bedmate. " Y'know what, KC ?" he said, adjusting himself atop his lover as he spoke. " Right here. This is all I want . All I'll ever want. Wakin' up next to you." KC's face blushed as EuEarl continued. " Promise me something, okay ? Promise me that every single morning this here... " EuEarl stroked KC's cheek slowly & tenderly, "...This here beautiful face is always the first thing I'll see when I wake up, alright ?"
" I ain't beautiful." KC thought, though he nodded his head slowly.
" Nuh, uh. Say it out loud to me."
" I promise." , KC blushed again.
" 'This-here-beautiful-face'..."
" This here beautiful face's always gon' be the first thang ya see in the mornin'. " KC's face was as beet red as his hair, though not with embarassment.
"Ahm keepin' that promise, too ."
EuEarl leaned down to placed a deep kiss on his man. " Don't ever let me be without you, babe." he breathed heavily.
And as the phone began to ring, KC replied huskily, " Yew won't never be, darlin' ."
